How does Laser Hair removal work?
Suitable for men and women, hair removal system delivers a specially tailored light source for permanent hair reduction. It works by selectively damaging actively growing hair follicles and causing their death.
After some repeat sessions, almost all of the hair will be permanently removed.

Is it painful?
The treatment is very comfortable and many clients claim it is less painful than waxing. No local anesthesia or pain medication is typically required.

Are there any skin reactions?
There is a mild heat reaction on the skin, this is soon normalised by the Laser cold attachment. How many treatments are required for permanent hair removal?
Most areas require 3-6 treatments. Around six treatments is enough for most people but this can vary. Clinical studies showed > 80% hair reduction six months post three treatments.
Hair grows in cycles and goes through three distinct phases: growth, regression, and resting . Only hair in its ‘growth‘ phase can be treated. The rest are dormant or 'resting'. Laser treatment destroys only actively growing hairs, so you will need to return for a number of repeat sessions in order to destroy all of the hair.

How fast is the treatment?
Large numbers of hairs can be destroyed at a time. So the upper lip may take only a few minutes to cover, while two full legs may take up to an hour. Time also needs to be spent preparing your skin prior to the light therapy and properly tending to it after the session.

What can I expect to see after a session?

The 'best' results appear after the second session because at this stage we've managed to catch a lot of the hair in it's growth phase. Also, because the hair doesn't immediately fall out after each session - it can take between five days
and three weeks depending on the hair. Three to four weeks break between sessions to maximise the new hair growth is recommended.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive procedure that helps in exfoliating the thickened layer of epidermis, dead cells to reveal a newer softer and silkier skin.
The procedure helps in the formation of new layer of cells containing more
elastin and collagen. This treatment delivers instant and remarkable results.

How does it work?
It works by sending tiny crystals, which are similar to sand, blown onto the skin using a specially designed handpiece. These tiny crystals have microscopically rough surfaces. As these crystals pass over the skin, they gradually remove the outer layers of skin one layer at a time. The specially designed hand piece sucks the crystals and any debris up into a chamber and is discarded. Its purpose is to rejuvenate the skin, evening out skin texture, clean out comedones, reduce acne and clogged pores.

Does it hurt?
Microdermabrasion is painless. It doesn't require anesthesia and has virtually
no down time after treatment. It can be performed on all skin types and colors without risks and side effects.

Do I need to take time off work to have a treatment?
It is not necessary to take time off work but your skin may glow during the day of the treatment and look a little rosy right after the treatment.

How much improvement will I have?
The amount of improvement is individual and depends on the initial condition
of your skin, however, most clients view the results as fairly dramatic.

What are Microdermabrasion effects?
Microdermabrasion works on superficial skin imperfections. But like with most non-surgical procedures, the results depend on your medical condition and your body's ability to recover. Most typical results include getting rid of stretch marks, acne scars, age spots, fine lines, enlarged pores, red marks, and dull skin.

Can you use Microdermabrasion after a Chemical Peel?
Microdermabrasion is not recommended if you've had chemical peeling in the last
14 days because the two exfoliating procedures combined are too aggressive
and might affect your skin's ability to recover. For best results, it is recommended you get a series of treatments and use high-tech anti-aging skin care products.

Chemical Peel

Facial skin peels are a deep exfoliation procedure, removing the top layer of skin
to reveal fresher, brighter complexion.

How does it work?
Chemical peel is most commonly performed to enhance your appearance
and your confidence. A formula is applied which gently removes the top layer of skin to leave a fresher complexion and smoother, brighter looking skin.

Who does it suit?
It can be used on all skin types and does not require weeks of skin preparation.
The chemical peel and treatment protocols can be tailored to suit the client's individual skin type and condition.
On more mature skin, the benefits are a younger-looking complexion with fewer fine lines and a radiant glow. However, peels are effective at any age in removing the top layer of dead skin for deep exfoliation. Younger patients will still have noticeably fresher skin. The treatment is also recommended for acne sufferers where it can deliver great results.

How long does it take?
The treatment itself takes around half an hour, but it may be longer depending on the product and treatment chosen. A chemical solution is applied to the area being treated and you will feel an initial warm sensation as the chemical becomes active.
A post peel cream is then applied. 2-3 days later, your skin will begin to peel
to reveal the healthy new skin beneath.
